The India Campaign will stand out in our memories forever.
The One True God of freedom and deliverance now reigns in Shillong, India. False idols and false religions have bound the people of India for thousands of years, but this past October God has taken back territory that is rightfully his.
The last night particularally stands out to me. As I opened my Bible to begin preaching, suddenly a wave of God's presence came. It was so overwhelming I struggled to remain standing. Cries of joy began rising from all four corners of the field... people were being healed before we even prayed! At the exact same time, those watching on television began calling, dozens at a time, sharing that Jesus was healing them right in their house! When I finally got to preach and give the invitation, the altar was packed with people accepting Christ for the first time. The crowd then erupted with singing, dancing, and celebration. There was great joy in the city! After the service, our partners in the local churches made sure every new convert had submitted their information to a local church. Our partners in Shillong have committed to stay in touch with every new convert!
Other incredible memories include hundreds of children committing their lives to Christ at the Kid's Festival (make sure click the link to the left and check out the photos of the event). Also, a young boy named Yaitron was delivered from demonic oppression before our very eyes (his story can be read by clicking the link below). As well as a 3 session day of training for all the believers in which church leaders from all over the state of Meghalaya attended.
Our hearts will forever beat for the salvation of India and we are sure to return there in the near future.
